My name is Derek, I'm 25 and live around the Kansas City area. I'm a little shy at first but once you get to know me I can become more talkative.
Music has always been an important part of my life. I went to college and got a degree in audio engineering where I learned how to edit audio and now work at a recording studio primarily recording/mixing other musicians. I like to write and play music too, the two instruments I play the most are drums and guitar. I've been playing drums for 14 years and guitar for 9 years. I listen to a lot of different genres of music, but my favorites are Metalcore, Post-Hardcore, Deathcore and Nu Metal.
Whenever I'm not working on music, I like to play video games in my free time. I grew up with classic Nintendo so I still play my SNES and N64 from time to time, but I also play a lot of newer games on Switch, PS4 and PS5. Some of my favorite franchises are Legend of Zelda, Dark Souls and Monster Hunter. I like to watch anime too, there's so many I want to watch that I haven't gotten around to though. My favorites are probably Dragon Ball Z, Berserk and Elfen Lied.
