I love the city, and as a designer always find it's spaces fascinating. I am passionate about my work - I think its really important to enjoy what you do! (Although I do occasionally get told off by my friends for talking about architecture too much. I am working on this.)
I like to think I'm fairly chilled out - nothing I love more than getting over to the mountains and doing some boarding or walking when I can, or if escaping from London for the day then doing some mountain biking. Its always great to get some fresh air! I like to stay fit by running, which I find very therapeutic.
Other things I love: wildlife, good food / chili (often an important component!), space (I have on occasion been been called a geek - I think this is excessive) the sea (also find this very therapeutic), unplanned Sunday afternoon in the pub, Sunday in general (definitively my favorite day of the week), drawing, music (ideally live), art - installation (Anish Kapoor, Rachel Whiteread, Gordon Matta-Clark - anything architectural) or painted (love Rothko). It's great to be stimulated.!
