I've just realized that I'm too 'crazy/odd' for what seems to pass for regular folks and too 'normal' for alt people. However, I'd much rather hang out with people with interesting, bizarre ideas than those with no thoughts at all! I like music, and will listen to most anything. However, I will not listen to boring details about someone else's favorite band. In fact, I will not listen to boring details about anything...done it for so long, one-sided conversations are a contradiction, no? But, I love going to movies, chatting afterward about the film. Hiking to quiet spots. Sitting and just being still. Reading the Sunday paper or a book while laying around with someone doing the same. WIne is good. Beer is good. Crackling fires are a neccessity. New restaurants must be tried. Adventures are important for the soul. Bike riding fun if not too high-powered. Walking my dog will always take precendence, hopefully with fellow dog-lover. Those are my basic requirements. Oh, and coffee.
