I am very nerdy. I love comic books, video games, star wars/trek, sci-fi, high fantasy, tabletop games etc. If you're not into any of this stuff, theres not much of a point. Gotta have some common ground.
I am looking for a long term commitment. I'm not interested in a fling or one night stand. I seem to have the same issue with women as most women seem to have with guys: drama and game playing. I graduated high school in 1999 and I have ZERO interest in reliving it in adulthood.
I actually have a job, and a vehicle. I know! This seems to be a rare thing these days. And, are you ready for this? ... I don't live with my mother!
I do not have a brain-mouth filter. It tends to land me in hot water at times. Trying to find that sweet spot between telling the unadulterated truth and not hurting people's feelings. I never honestly mean to offend people or hurt their feelings. This....does not always work though.
I do not speak in metaphors. I do not use cryptic language. I mean exactly what I say, no more, no less. Nothing implied and no hidden meanings. If you ask yourself hmm I wonder if he means___ simply re-read what I said. Was what you are thinking specifically stated? If the answer is no, then....no.
I don't enjoy sports of any kind. I don't know, it just bores the sh*tout of me.
I am trying like hell to quit smoking. I don't really drink very often.
I listen to Metal and Classic Rock. I HATE rap with a fiery passion and I have a huge dislike for country as well. I can tolerate country, but that's only because I'm the ONLY one in my family that doesn't listen to it, so I'm used to it.
I'm an artsy type to a point. I really enjoy museums(natural history, NASA and the art museum especially). I'm a musician, so metal shows are ALWAYS a plus if I can ever actually catch one.
I'm a huge animal lover.
I HATE drama, and if you are a dramatic person I've got no problem dropping you like a bad habit. I graduated high school in 1999. I do not wish to relive that...
Please be able to communicate. If you just bottle everything up and then explode out of the blue 2 months later, we will NOT work. You have a mouth. Open it up and speak.
I also feel that I should note, that I am NOT a skinny dude. I'm 6'2 and 320. In my own defense, I don't exactly look like it, but still.
I have never had what one might consider a GOOD relationship. I tend to end up with insane people it seems. Most of my past relationships have been EXTREMELY short-lived. I'm not going to sit here and claim innocence at all, because I'm sure as sh*tnot perfect. But I need to be a bit more selective from here on out because I would like to finally find the one (not Neo...).
