I used to be a poseur: I led a tribute to the Cure for 20 years. Then, I packed up and moved across the country to buy a bar. Now, I own a gothic literary horror bar in Buffalo, NY with my partner. We are kitchen-table poly, meaning that post-COVID, we would entertain other partners in our polycule. I have never been on a dating site before, so, I'm really looking for a friend connection first. I'm also looking for connections in Europe, specifically Spain and Germany, where I hope to visit more frequently and eventually move to part time after the pandemic.
I love architecture, cemeteries, and learning how the world works. I read books on quantum physics for fun, although my father is an astrologer, so I have some right-brainedness as well. I love pinball and am a part of league here in Buffalo. I also like video games, such as puzzle games and Assassin's Creed-style games with brain-stuff in it. I used to play drums, but I left my drums behind; I now just have my guitars and bass VI.
I speak 3 languages and have studied 8. I'm currently studying German, but I speak Spanish and Mandarin. I can read French, a little Italian, a little Swedish, I can make out the typography in Hindi, and I know a tiny bit of American Sign Language.
In my non-spare time, I work my brain. I love cooking for people, and I consider myself a coherent chef, as long as it is Chinese, Thai, Indian, Korean, or barbecue.
I'm interested in meeting interesting people with a thirst for life. Being a bar owner, I'm also looking for people who are into an alternative lifestyle and can handle being up late. Physically, I generally like coloured hair, piercings, and a very thin frame. If you have a big nose, a scar, or some oddity, I'm totally in. You have to have a thirst for something, something that really makes you tick, for me to be interested. An intellectual pursuit, sharp wit, an obsession with something. Vampire movies? Cooking? Travel?
I am into the mental attributes of human connection. I am constantly learning and I hope that you would be someone who is similar.
I don't care about age. I care about who you are. What you like. What makes you YOU. Be you. Unless you're a jerk or a right-winger, I'm pretty good at finding common ground.
