Originally from the southside of Chicago, lived in Indy for 18 years, now back as of November 2019. Currently living in Gold Coast. Career in commercial real estate along with two business partnerships. One related to music management, the other related to my invention and patent. Fun and helps to keep me young. Navigating an incredibly challenging year on all fronts but still have the energy, time, and optimism to find my person.
Intimacy and expressing my giving side to a partner romantically is important to me. I can take it or leave it in terms of drinking, no expectations. You won’t have to worry about asking me to go dancing (when we can ha), ride bikes, spending time outdoors, or going to the mall.
I try to challenge myself like running my first marathon at 40. Sharp humor style similar to fellow Chicagoan Bill Murray, but not obnoxious. I can make a joke about anything and quick on my toes sort of like Ellen. I certainly have a filter, can adapt to different personalities, and can speak up as a leader. I Love to travel, especially the ocean and the being in the sun.
I can’t say I watch or keep up with sports as much as the next guy but do I love going to the games and will watch the final four, Bears, Colts, or go golfing. I mix well with others. A day at Wrigley is always a treat. Pre-2020 I love events, crowds, NYC, I just like to get out and do different things. Then unwind at home.
I am less confrontational and more resolution driven. Gossip, negativity, and drama aren’t my style. I owned a business with a staff of 35 where being referee was a big hat I wore.
I get a charge out of opportunity, networking, and working the creative side of my side businesses. Watching comedies, listening to audio books and a few netflix shows and the voice. I travel a bit for work, try to visit fam on south side when I can. I am probably ten years younger in terms of how I feel.
I have close guy friends that I love like brothers, mostly from college, they support me and all my crazy ideas and humor. I have always been a one woman kind of guy. I thrive on being appreciated all around. If kids are in your life now or the future, I love Disneyworld and have patience and humor.
If I were to describe a good partner, she would be easy going, positive, funny, creative, and affectionate. One who is giving but also likes to be pampered. Has her own style, loyal, wanting to explore more, and become more in life rather than watching others on the sideline. She is open and ok with pushing her comfort zone, rises above pettiness, would be up for traveling one day to places like Brazil, Japan, Ibiza along with Mexico and Florida. Open minded, accomodating versus self-centered, diverse interests, appreciative, wants affection, young at heart.
