DETHKLOK DOLL

My name is Kaci and I recently moved to Oklahoma after graduating college. I work as an accountant but I write horror/suspense fiction part-time. My dream is to eventually be able to focus just on my writing. I'm very creative and artistic, and I love music. I have a soundtrack for every possible emotion or event in my life. I'm really into metal, particularly black/death metal and melodic metal. I listen to a lot of Opeth, Necrophagist, Apocalyptica, Arch Enemy, Behemoth--but Dethklok is my favorite. Metalocalypse is a fantastically written show and Brendan Small gets me high off his insane riffs every time. Seriously! Listen to the Dethalbums.

I'm intensely academic; I love to read and learn new things. I'm into history and I collect antiques. I'm fascinated with the rare, the unusual, and the macabre. I'm a member of a paranormal research team based out of Carthage, MO and I like ghost hunting and traveling in my spare time.

I'm also extremely religious and politcally active, which might come as a surprise to some. I love the duality of everything represented in the Bible, the fundamental balance of good versus evil--I deal with this concept a lot in my writing. You can't appreciate the light unless you understand and accept the dark. Suffice to say that my faith is important to me. As for my political affiliation...that would probably take up more space than I'm allowed. Haha. But I'm a rebel with anarchist tendencies to say the least.
