I'm a spiritual man searching for meaning and a place in the world. I've never known a true sense of belonging but somehow I've always known that someone out there is looking for me too. I hope to find her so that we can make our place in this world together... that's all I've ever hoped for.
Imperfection breaks the monotony of symmetry and manifests the brilliance aura beauty that is formed only through knowing pain and transcending it. If beauty is in the eye of the beholder then perhaps I simply have better vision in darkness. But I see clearly the difference that exists only in the heart and mind of a survivor of suffering. Though suffering itself may be profane, I am awed rarely and nearly exclusively by ability to surpass it. A gorgeous form is meaningless and I will never call a woman with one "beautiful" unless accompanied by an elegance, complexity and some extent of brilliance within her mind. Consequently, I have been alone for a long time, by my own choice...
My past is sufficiently filled with darkness. So much that I have had more than my fill; and while I will always appreciate the beauty in the dark, I'm ready to find someone who appreciates darkness and to forge a bright future together.
