I'm probably not what you are looking for in a 30+ year old man. I don't own a house or have a career officially started yet. I live in a 1 BR apartment, although I do have a car, a motorcycle, and a job;internship at an accounting firm that pays good for being an intern.
I'm still trying to get reestablished after having a few tough years after I was diagnosed with leukemia in the end of 2015. The beginning of 2015 I fell for a marriage scam manipulated by some old college friends of mine that cost me quite a bit of money (25 grand). I have since then fixed my nice guy, gullibility problem so don't expect me to pay for anything, dinner, movies, your kids clothing, or your utility bills until there is some sort of genuine connection between us. My dad also died that year too. 2015 was a pretty s**tty year.
Thankfully I'm a veteran who served in a combat zone after Sept 11 and my leukemia diagnosis made me eligible for service connected disability, (alot of tax exempt money every month for the rest of my life or until they cure me) and they told me I could restart my life with the VA paying my tuition to go back to school for a new degree (Accounting at Penn State Middletown) I'm allowed to work too and still collect my VA disability. I am not completely and totaly disabled and do not want to be.
As I said I am probably not what a woman in her mid 20s to late 30s is looking for right now. Maybe in a couple of years after I'm graduated from Penn State and working full time as an accountant or auditor I can appeal to all you gold diggers and manipulators out there that just want some one to give you money.
My leukemia is under control but I take medicine for it that is probably going to lead to liver or kidney failure in 25 years or so. I don't expect to make it much past 70 so if you want to grow really old together, I'm not your guy either.
Oh, yeah, I also don't have much family. All my family is either dead or moved to another state after a falling out with them after my dad died. We talk but we aren't close. I'm pretty tough and can be more than a little cynical at times although I'm really trying to see the light and be happy. I also had friends taking advantage of me in the past, and putting me down and tooling me. At the time, I was oblivious to this, but now I understand why I've been single most of my life, and what the cause of my depression and low self esteem was. I cut 90% of them out of my life several years ago after I started figuring things out. I am alot happier now even though I don't really have many friends or family, they few I do have, respect me. I'm new to the Harrisburg area but not new to PA. I want to kick the s**t out of the world and start getting my due and having an awesome life, no excuses, no procrastination, take no prisoners. I'm still alive for a reason.
Am I a match for you... probably not... I'm a weirdo, not a prince charming. If black is your favorite color though you should definitely message me. I'm more fun in person really I am. Focusing on the positives in the here and now, but don't test me too much too fast. My patience is still thin although my tolerance is high. I'm also trying to save the butterflies through conservation awareness and native plant gardening. I'm the President and Founder of "The Butterfly and Pollinator Garden Club at Penn State Middletown" also president of the "Accounting Club" but that's far less interesting.
