I enjoy travelling, cooking, philosophy and what conventional society, has deemed "extreme" music and film genres..Cronenberg, Carpenter, Coppola and Scorsese come to mind.
I may appear "conventional", due to the absence of long hair, leather jacket, tattoos or questionable application of discount cosmetics. Personally, I've found that "alternative", has always been more of a mindset, over physical appearance.
I have a dark and dry, often morbid sense of humour. If you can make fun of yourself, I find that you can get through most things, life has to offer.
Things that I look for in a potential partner, include the following:
Ambition.
An open mind.
A high degree of emotional maturity.
A fondness for animals; including those less fortunate.
A willingness to put others, before themselves.
If everyone thought about others, before themselves, I believe the world would be a much better place.
I have no interest in having children, I do apologize for any inconvinence, this may present..
I will not "wink" at you, nor comment on your photographs. This spectrum of behaviour is akin to digital catcalling, beneath me and a waste of time, as evident by the sheer number of women, that feel the need to mention it, in their profiles.
Likewise, I have no interest in one-night stands. I find them shallow and unrewarding.
I have an interest in you, as an individual, not an object of potential conquest.
Weekends are spent exploring a new city, or with a good book and vinyl record.
It would be nice, if I could find a travel companion with similar interests.
Please recommend a decent movie or series..They are hard to find these days.
Current favourites include: Boardwalk Empire, Quite Interesting, Vikings and Mindhunter.
