The things I'm looking for in a guy/girl;
1. A deep connection - More than just a surface attraction or a crush, an actual love that means something, built on more than just fleeting fancies.
2. Some similar interests, but some differences - Birds of a feather nest together, but opposites also attract. I'm hoping to find the best of both worlds, with the most important things agreed on, and a few different perspectives on the little things, so that we can look at life in a couple different ways.
3. Respect for each other and ourselves - Treat each other and ourselves with respect, so that we'll be able to make it through rough times and come out on the other side, still together and stronger for it, and also still in one piece.
4. Fun! - I want to be able to have a good time with my partner! What's the point of being with someone if you don't enjoy their company? I've had many girlfriends and boyfriends in the past (I have to admit, I've hopped around a bit, but I've broken that habit) who have done nothing but drag me down. I'm not going to let myself be treated like that anymore. Of course we'll support each other and be there for each other, but we'll also help each other see the bright side of things and let each other enjoy life!
5. Be completely honest and trust each other - If we both know that we will never lie to each other, then we can both trust each other completely. That removes a lot of issues, and will decrease the frequency and severity of fights. It will also help strengthen the bond between us and let us work through our problems together, instead of letting them break us apart.
Oh, by the way, I love snakes, spiders, bugs, etc. I'm very goth at times, very dark at times, and then sometimes very childish. I'm looking for someone who will fit with my personality. I love dyed hair, tattoos, and dark makeup. I'm mostly lesbian, but I occasionally like boys, too. I'm into voice acting, roleplaying, gaming, writing, drawing, makeup, gothic fashion, a little computer coding, DnD, and stuffed animals (not taxidermy). Horror movies are awesome, cuddling is also awesome, and so is cooking and baking with someone I care about.
Dream First Date (with NOT MY CURRENT HOUSE):
The dusky breeze ruffles my loose black dress as your car pulls up the driveway, and as I walk over, the door opens and you step out. I take your hand and lead you inside my house. Guiding you by the hand past the stairs, I pull out a seat for you at the dining room table and carry over our dinner (something tasty), setting it on the table. I sit across from you, and while we eat, we talk and really hit it off. During the meal, you reach over part of the table to where my hand is resting on my side and hold my hand. I blush, and we both giggle. After dinner, we both curl up and cuddle on the couch together and watch a horror movie or two while eating popcorn and candy (because CANDY). By then, it's too dark for you to drive home, I won't let you. I don't want you to drive home that late in this weather. I guess you'll just have to spend the night. I give you the couch and I curl up on a bean bag on the floor next to the couch, and we both sleep well. In the morning, you say goodbye and leave, but not before placing your number on a piece of paper and taping it to the door.
Also, I just want to hold someone, kiss someone gently, sing someone a love song... I just want to love someone.
