I am a single guy with no ties, children or baggage living on the essex/Hertfordshire border. I rent a cute little 600 year old cottage with low ceilings and exposed beams. It needs a lick of paint, but it's great having what is a whole house to myself. Could even use one of the downstairs rooms as a dungeon! Near town too, and there tons bars and stuff to hang out in.
