Music and movies are important to me and my knowledge of them are excessive, as are the range of my tastes in both. I have a weird ability to remember quotes from a lot of movies I have seen and bring them out at strange times. Hopefully you find it endearing or at least interesting as opposed to annoying. I use my powers only for good though. Well except my ability to get awful songs stuck in your head. That one I use for evil. I will help you to get it out of your head quickly, as I do care about your mental health and well-being after all.
I love animals of all kinds. I need animals in my life.
I like to be physically active but also enjoy the closeness and relaxation of down time.
I play guitar but I haven’t played in a while. I intend to get back to doing that regularly, very soon.
An important part of my life is Dark Age/Medieval History and Culture. I belong to an organization called the Society for Creative Anachronism. From the website: “The Society for Creative Anachronism (SCA) is an international non-profit volunteer educational organization. The SCA is devoted to the research and re-creation of pre-seventeenth century skills, arts, combat, culture, and employing knowledge of history to enrich the lives of participants through events, demonstrations, and other educational presentations and activities.” It has given me many new friends/family and confidence in the way I’m able to carry and handle myself. I have never found a more welcoming or friendly Society as this one. As part of the SCA I participate in Heavy Combat which is an incredible thrill. I can fill you in more on that and the Society in further detail if you’d like to know more. I would live in a castle or castle-like home in a minute. Also like to go to Renaissance Faires.
