The things I value most are integrity, honesty and moral courage. I am seeking a person who appreciates the need to find common ground, and understands he's part of a magnificent creation. In my spare time I enjoy motorcycling, listening to music (anything with a horn section), watching movies, reading (mostly history and biographies), and fixing things, playing long tennis, i like fishing, going on a vacation and sometimes playing video games.
What am I like? Some words that have been used to describe me are: serious, patriotic , intelligent, independent, vulnerable, affectionate, devoted, authentic, and fun-loving. I like to question things, remain an independent thinker. Keeping a sense of humor is a priority. And I'm not above laughing at bathroom humor once I have permission to stop acting like a half child. I will be open and honest about the bad stuff as you get to know me.
What am I looking for? I'm looking for a long-term, monogamous relationship (marriage) based on a strong friendship with someone who desires emotional as well as physical intimacy. I don't need another person to make me feel whole or complete; I want a helpmate while on this journey. My partner must be someone who is willing to sit with me through the crying as well as the laughing. He should be interested in his own personal development. He must be able to appreciate how my mind works. He must desire all the good I have to offer and able to correct me when i wrong him rather than keeping things to hisself or discussing it to outside people.
