I've been very dedicated to my job over the last 6 years and unfortunately as a result I have neglected other things, such as hobbies and myself. Over the past 12 months i've given up a few bad habits and have started going to the gym regularly. I still have a way to go but I am a determined person.
I come from a small close knit family. We all live in different towns/cities but we stay in touch regularly and see each other where we can.
I am a very ambitious person and I have a lot of things I would like to explore in the near to longer term future. These include creative pursuits as well as an array of business opportunities.
I do love to laugh and joke around. I can be a serious person but I do believe laughter is essential and is useful in almost any circumstance. It's always hard to describe yourself or something about yourself to other people. I guess it's for other people to judge but I would say my sense of humour is dry, facetious with a dash of whimsy.
Music: I use to be a musician myself and it is something I may get back into in the future. My interests in music are pretty diverse but I tend to avoid mainstream music. Synthpop, Metal, Goth Rock, Progressive Rock, Alternative Rock, Trance etc. Some of my favourite bands are Anathema, Depeche Mode, Placebo, Drab Majesty, The Sisters of Mercy, The Cure, Faith No More, The Birthday Massacre, Ludovico Einaudi, Oceanlab, The Midnight, FM-84, Rush, Porcupine Tree, Blackfield, Hurts, Wolfsheim, Peter Heppner, Type O Negative etc.
TV: Bit of a comedy nerd. Seinfeld, Curb Your Enthusiasm, The Inbetweeners, Community, Arrested Development, Silicon Valley, Veep, Peep Show, Back, Mitchell and Webb, Fresh Meat, The IT Crowd, The Simpsons (90s era), Travel Man, The Office (UK&US), Friday Night Dinner, QI, Would I Lie to You?, Nevermind The Buzzocks etc ..and Grand Designs.
Movies: Not a massive movie fan but I tend to stay away from the big comic book blockbuster movies. Prefer indie films. Igby Goes Down, The Squid and the Whale, Lonesome Jim
