At the moment i'm just looking for like-minded friends to hang with. Although, should anything more come from it, i'd be open to taking it to the next level and beyond. Flexibility and Adaptation are two of the several keys to Success and Happiness.
First off, i'm a writer at heart(along with several other traits), and.. what i've posted for this "About Me" section is very detailed, so if you don't like to read or don't have the attention span, go ahead and move your cursor over to the top right corner of the page and -click- the little "X" there. Anyways, after several relationships that went into the toilet due to incompatibility and various dead-end dates that were the same, I figured i'd give this dating site thing a shot for the first time ever, so here goes.
If you're looking for a Thug, you need to look elsewhere, I am not one of those types. I'm fairly eclectic, which means that my personality, style, way of thinking and overall being are derived from everything.(I'm Intellectual, Prep, Goth, Hipster, Country, Redneck, Ghetto,Punk,Clean Cut, Business, etc. all rolled into one.)
I can also be construed as what you would consider a "Cool Nerd" or "Cool Geek", meaning i'm not the "stereotypical Geek/Nerd". I don't wear pocket protectors, get nosebleeds when pretty girls walk by and I don't spend 24hrs a day on MMOs. Reading on, you'll see what I mean given the fact that I enjoy my non-geek stuff as much as I enjoy my geek stuff. If me having some geek tendencies is not your thing, refer back to the very first sentence in this this description and follow said instructions. I am also spontaneous, and while I do make plans for things that need planning, i'm still a "Let's see where the wind takes us." type of adventurer.
I believe my broad range of varied hobbies and interests makes me unique in the fact that I can find a fit and interest into many areas. I like to game(video, tabletop, card, board or otherwise.)I love card games especially M:TG, Texas Hold 'em, Dominion and Munchkin to name a few. Keep in mind, the games don't run me, they are hobbies. I love sports of all kinds, especially football, baseball, and basketball. I like to research and study various things, among them being various parts of history, people and mysteries. I am a huge horror and sci-fi buff, I also enjoy cooking and meeting new people. I enjoy traveling, be it a day trip or a week-long excursion, and seeing new places and experiences, haunted or not, lol. I'm into anything Wrestling, WWE, TNA, etc. If ya Smell what The Cleric is cookin'.
I'm Mixed Race(Filipino, Japanese and Black) and I don't care about skin color. Pigmentation is trivial to me, i'll date/marry a Caucasian woman the same as I would a Chinese, Native American, Italian, or whatever. I'm colorblind in that aspect, it's the person as a whole that matters, not their skin color so racists obviously need not apply. Stupidity is Stupidity no matter what color/race/creed the person is. I have a couple of piercings, my ears are both gauged to 0 and I have a tongue ring. As for tatts, I don't have any, yet.
Another thing is, i'm a big dude, always have been, but that doesn't mean I don't take care of myself. I could become anorexic and still be a big guy with broad shoulders. So if your thing is absolutely wanting a guy with the stature of Trent Reznor, Kobe Bryant, Enrique Iglesias or one of the crackheads off of Moncrief, then for one you are likely shallow and two you won't find that here. Shallow types bore the ever-loving crap out of me, have no place in my world and need not apply. So shallow ladies, kindly look for the "X" and click.
I love Music of all types, Rock, Rap, Reggae, Country, etc. etc. my faves leaning toward Dark Wave and R&B. Music is a big part of my life. Don’t get it mistaken, there are some artists who are sub-par, but that’s with every genre. One minute I may be “Wundervoll” with Wolfsheim, the next I may be wondering “Where do I go from you?” with Jon Secada, the next I might be a "Redneck Woman" with Gretchen Wilson, the next I’m asking “How do you like me now?” by Toby Keith, next to I might be “Getting Jiggy with It” with Will Smith, the next I might be “Too s*xy” for my shirt with Right Said Fred or I might be going through the “Looking Glass” with the Birthday Massacre. Music is an important part of my being and something from every genre has helped me through a tough time or two in my life, so if you’re the type of bigoted person who “Hates” this or “Hates” that, click the “X” immediately and wipe my profile from your memory. I’m inclined to believe that people who hate an entire genre of music, are close-minded and bigoted types. I don’t get along with those people at all.
I'm also unbiased towards a lot of things. Example: If you're gay, inters*x, vegan, alien, hippie, whatever, I won't treat you any different than anyone else. However if you're doing something that would have Jeffrey Dahmer turning in his grave, then yeah we might have issues.
I have a varied sense of humor, tend to crack a lot of jokes and like to poke fun at obvious stupidity, like the fact that there's braille on the drive thru ATMs, or the "Do Not Enter/Enter Here" sign on the -same- doors at the local Target. I find a lot of humor in these things just for the simple fact that... they are what they are. I like to pride myself in being intelligent, logical, practical and having common sense. And no, these don't all mean the same thing.
I can keep typing but -really- getting-to-know-me begins over a drink, or some no-limit Texas Hold em'.. or whatever we can get into that allows us to conversate. Hell, getting lost driving around tends to spark up a good convo or two every now and then. Either way, if I sound like your type, let's talk.
