I am never very good with first impressions and tend to be reserved or even shy when meeting new people so writing about myself is rather uncomfortable. I guess I am a mature geek with aspirations to survive and thrive in the world of business. I would think of myself as hardworking and loyal with a strong interest in knowledge and new ideas.
I try to be open and fun and certainly like a few drinks. I like a variety of music but mainly metal and rock and think that all music is better live. Gigs are great and I enjoy local pub bands as well as more famous groups and larger venues and rock festivals.
I love learning about large periods of history and enjoys books and films based on historic events.
I like a healthy debate and will admit to being wrong as long there's been a good discussion about it.
I like to travel but have not done nearly enough so far so have some catching up to do there.
I enjoy having quiet time to spend reading or curled up on the sofa watching a good film, or a favourite TV show. I dislike Soaps and reality TV and much prefer Sci Fi, Documentaries, stand up comedy or Rugby.
I enjoy being outdoors and like to get away in my tent when I can, being able to lay back and watch the stars on a clear evening is amazing!
I currently have 4 tattoos and would like a couple more, I also love visiting old ruins and historic locations.
