I'm an Old-fashioned guy who understands a great deal about 'what's happening now in the world and look forward to the future but has a great deal of respect for the past. I work hard and play hard but also enjoy those calm and tranquil moments of slowing things down and enjoying the scenery or watching a movie with the lights down low. I can be entertained while being very active (I am a former college athlete) or sitting and contemplating the problems in the world and how you and I will fix 'em. I enjoy music from most any genre from 40s/50s Big Band to 60s Hippies and British Invasion, to70s Soul/80s Tech, Classic R/R and even some Heavy Metal [I'll pass on the Hip Hop nation tho].
What's alternative about me is the idea that I don't fit the mold of the mass media production of today's urban Black man... I'm not angry, insistent on blaming anyone for what I don't have, and relatively well adjusted given the fact that I was born in but delivered from virtually incessant chaos; and that's just the tip of the 'Chillsberg' 😎
I do have some disturbing skeletons in the closet that are dark and cause night terrors. Positivity and helping others keeps a lock on the door to those demons but that's hard work. I'm a 'reformed' OG who happened to see the 'Light' before any op had a chance to send me to my appointed Dirt Nap!
