Im David. I'm a musical, magical, semi-literate and friendly sort of a fellow... so apologies in advance for any singing, white rabbits and spelling mistakes you find on here.
By day I work in TV Broadcast and by night I'm a professional pirate.

Also some people call me a contrarian, but i'm not!
I'm a musician (well, a drummer), play in bands and wright my own self indulgent metaly prog. Currently playing in a cool grunge band as well as my explosively over the top Pirate Metal band. See, TOLD you I was a pirate. YARRR!
My music tastes are wide, extreme and nuanced. I'm pretty much open to anything... This fact alone makes me the worst possible DJ in the world and on no account should I ever be left to control the music. "miserable introspective Swedish indipop, followed by some ridiculously silly blackmetal that sounds like saten ate scoobydoo" --- That's what happens.
I work shifts so spend a lot of my life filling time when nobody is about. To this end I bought a house and it's an amazing time sink. But when I'm not decorating or frantically fixing boilers I live a semi active life. I like walking, rock climbing, lifting heavy things, exploring outside, driving across the country for 20 mins of fun, going to gigs, playing 90s point and click computergames, reading ridiculous sci-fi/thrillers, visiting odd museums and watching weird films and im sure a thousand and one other things I've currently forgotten.
And that basically explains why I'm here. Looking to get to know someone new and lovely to share my life and passions with and someone who will enjoy sharing their life with me. Also... there's this coal mining museum I wanna go to... and I don't wanna go alone... because, well... coal's not fun unless it's shared...
