I'm the sort of person who's hard to pigeonhole, I should know, I live with me and I still can't work me out and so, to describe myself in brief;
I love movies, old and new. Like theatre, watching bands at pubs, but haven't done enough of either lately. Cycle everywhere, but not one of the Lycra brigade, I live in a small town it's quicker and keeps me fit, but I'm never going to go all streamline, road bike and do fifty miles for fun. Enjoy ten pin bowling, following my football teams, quiet nights occasionally at the pub, or at home, bit of a hippy at times as sometimes I let my hair grow.
I'm a creative person who's very much into the creative arts, loves to write, visit art galleries, etc. Drinks lots of tea and coffee, am a good cook, though hate having to do the washing up afterwards, rather finish the bottle of wine first. Like to travel, be it planned, to a hotel or to stuff a few things in a rucksack and take off for a weekend to some city in Europe just because I fancy apple pancakes in Amsterdam or a coffee by the Siene, as I'm really very good at lazing in a café with a coffee reading a book, oh and smiling a lot.
Am a passionate hopeless romantic at times, I'm happy as I am and I would like to hope you are happy with yourself too. Love the changing seasons, misty woods, quiet beaches and like graveyards. A bit of a Goth at heart as I like the music and the literature, but don't dress as one, though I do still like black or wear dark blue and do wear the DM's and skinny jeans, so the Goth inside is trying to get out from the coffin of conformity.
I'll hold a conversation on any topic but reality TV or soap, (don't watch them) and if you do want to chat, I will actually listen to.
The Ragged Trousered Philanthropists is my favourite book of all time, movies, too many but basically anything with a logical plot and a heart.
Music, All About Eve, The Mission, The Sisters of Mercy, New Order, Joy Division, Danielle Dax, Toyah, Talk Talk, Kate Bush, and REM I can't live without.
