I suppose you could compare me with a classic Corvette. Good looking, well maintained, reliable and trustworthy (rarely breaks down) and with great rust free body work that polishes up well, looks good in the sunshine and is great fun to be out with on the great open road of life. I love adventure and seeking and sharing something new with my partner every day.
I firmly believe you should treat everyone the way you expect to be treated yourself. I am fiercely loyal to my friends and family, dependable, sensitive and, so I am told just about house trained. Like a lot of people, I enjoy the finer things in life but am just as happy snuggling up watching a movie, talking or just some quiet time reading.
Over the years, I’ve enjoyed many sports but have shortened that list to hiking, kayaking, and swimming, cross country skiing (this winter) and taking my canine companion, Caramia, on daily long walks. I am a news “junkie” and a limited fan of the NFL and MLB, and have successfully learned to cook without poisoning anyone. I am a voracious reader, have an eclectic taste in music and love to dance

[Gary Larson’s cartoons are particular favorites – I haven’t forgiven him for retiring (to be a mediocre guitarist, no less). The New Yorker's are also essential. In science, the cartoons of Sidney Harris are tremendous.] In thinking through my closest friends, all over the world, the qualities they all have in common are intelligence, “goodness”, and a tremendous sense of humor.
