Hello! My name is Maris and I have had 31 years around the sun, I am an artist and photographer
I love to travel and experience new things and people. I love to read almost more then anything. I have a strong passion for animals and saving them. I love to laugh and have an amazing time in non conventional ways. I am very liberal and don't judge a book by its cover.
I rarely watch tv and when I do watch movies it's mostly in the cinema. I don't even have cable lol.
Everyday I try to become a better person and dedicate time to reconnecting and re charging my soul. I meditate and am on my third and final degree of becoming a Reiki master. I have found that the combination of the former and latter along with being active outside and treating your body with respect and love is really the way to not just
survive but thrive.
I am not your conventional beauty, I'm short and am overweight (which I'm trying to work on for my heath and own self)
I have tattoos over most of my body as well as piercings. I do think I'm beautiful and once you get to know me I think that becomes more so but I'm not trying to make any falsehoods about who I am.
I prefer a social life filled with doing different things weather it be going to an art class or doing yoga. I am not much of a party girl (been there done that)
I love anything fantasy, Renn fairs, I play magic the gathering and can build a mean deck lol. I love anime and manga. I am obsessed with archeology and paleontology. I identify as Goth and dress in dark colors all the time. I listen to classical music the most of any genera. Halloween is my favorite holiday and when I shop for all year home decor.
I love libraries and used book shops, the smell of old books is intoxicating to me.
Laying outside under the starts and moon is one of greates privileges I find in life.
I am very attracted to intelligents if you can get my mind stimulated you have passed the biggest way to my heart.
I want an equal in life, I want to laugh and experience new things. I want someone to spend my life next to to share experiences and life events. I want to have a family with someone even if it's just the two of us.
I love to go to museums and the theater, I want to have real conversations and be mentally stimulated. I think being compassionate and caring is the best quality any person can have and makes someone more attractive…. I am very honest and open and I will tell you what I think so make sure you want the answer before you ask.
And last but not least honesty is so f**king important, just be honest even if you think whomever you are talking with will be turned off. Finding out someone has lied or led you on is far worse than some maybe unsavory truth.
