I am an old punker i,e, I was at the Punk Rock Fashion Show at the Paladium in 1977 where I got the first taste of the new chaos era that revived the rock n' roll dying scene. Performing along Devo, and Blondie was a local band The Weirdos and I was hooked. Another shocking element were the punk chicks all decked out in ripped stockings, swazi bands, f**ked up and colored hair along with tons of nasty makeup; I fell in love with it all. Living in Hollywood it was only natural to dive right into the scene. The first hangout The Masque was the s**t but since I still held a straight job I was only a "weekend Punker" but as I started meeting some of the notorious rejects of society such as Darby Crash (Bobby Pyn then), Black Randy, X the Mentors bunch Fear etc.I began participating full time by selling and using drugs. When the Masque got shut down and Brendan Mullen and friends reopened at a place called the Zero club on Cohuenga, the place became my second home. There is no need to describe what went on in those days but I say it was all f**king fun. Getting drunk with characters like El Duche, shooting crank with Black Randy or doing Heroin with Derf Scratch of Fear became my life. My place on Ogden Drive was the after hours after hours hangout for the deviants like myself and other drug addicts scraped from the streets of Hollyweird. Over the years of doing drugs going to punk shows and roaming Europe in search of the best punk scenery (London, Amsterdam, Hamburg etc.) I found myself strung out on Speedballs and just about anything that could be injected.
