I'll tell you a little bit of the "basics" about myself I guess... My name is Brittany, I'm nineteen years old. After I graduated high school I began working two jobs to help put myself through mortuary school- I work as a dietary assistant and a CNA, both at a nursing home nearby where I live.
I'm sort of a short girl, I'm almost 5'2! I weigh 111lbs- I'm slim, but not sickly slim. I'm pretty pale, I hate tanning. I'm very very petite which is kind of sucky- petite clothes are pretty expensive compared to normal sizes. The only upside to shopping for a person as small as me is that I can buy my shoes in the kids isle and I won't have to pay as much!
I'm pretty dorky honestly- if you can get to know me past all my shyness you'll notice that I make horrible references and terrible puns often. I really love to play video games whether that be old gen or new gen- I have quite the collection of consoles and games. I still love playing the Pokémon card game- this also goes for Yu-Gi-Oh, and quite recently I've began playing Magic the Gathering- I have started to really really like that game since I've became so used to it. I love to watch anime and read manga- Death Note is my favorite anime of all time but I enjoy old and newer anime as well depending upon the genre. My favorite manga would also have to be Death Note- I'm a "little" obsessed! If I had to choose a different manga from Death Note to be my favorite I would probably have to choose Inyuasha since that was of course the first manga and anime I watched when I was a little girl!
I also enjoy reading actual books- my favorite book series is Harry Potter- I started reading them in first grade and I fell in love with the books and the movies. ( still waiting on my Hogwarts letter )
I really like movies- mostly horror... Occasionally action, and I'm always down for a Marvel or DC movie! My favorite horror movie goes wayyy back to the oldies- I love Nosferatu. My favorite Marvel movie would have to be Captain America: Civil War- I just recently watched it and I loved it! Captain is also my favorite super hero as well.
Other things about me... Hmm...
Well, I do really love animals! At the moment I have four cats, two dogs, three fish, and one ferret.
I actually have very bad vision and contacts irritate my eyes so I have to wear glasses all of the time- I really hate them so I never show them in my photos, but they're actually pretty much stereotypical hipster glasses, I don't like the style of them on myself, but they don't annoy me like the other glasses with smaller frames do, I hate being able to see the frames through my glasses when I'm looking through them.
Uhmmm.... About my style- it's kinda whatever I want to wear on a particular day. Some days I may dress full on goth with corsets and chains, other days I'll wear band tees shorts/skinny jeans. I do absolutely love my Doc Martin boots, but I also love my Vans and Converse also.
I listen to different genres of music- pretty much anything besides country and rap is okay with me. I'm not big on hip-hop or pop either- I prefer rock more than anything though: anything from oldies to more up to date genres which includes all genres of rock... Punk, metal, literally anything in between.
Okay, enough about me- you can ask whatever else you wish to know about me yourself! It would be easier that way. As I said before, I'm not very good at telling people about myself.
I guess now I should tell you why I'm here though? Well you see, I recently got out of a horrible relationship- I was totally miserable with the guy I was with, but for whatever reason I stayed with him even though I was depressed and upset all of the time because of him. Well, not very long ago he left me in one of the worst ways that you could leave a devoted and loyal girl. Even though I did want the relationship to end it still hurt then, and it continues to now, but I know that there has to be some man or woman out there that will treat me much better and so hopefully I can find something serious here. This isn't the first time I've used a dating site before, but I never had any luck finding something serious before- so I'm hoping that this time I will. I just don't want my heart broken again, so please don't play games with me- be a serious adult and chat with me, get to know me, and maybe we'll click... If you see that you don't like me then don't lead me on like the last relationship I had because I can't take much more of that kind of pain- every past relationship I have had was like that... I was led on, lied to, humiliated, I had rumors spread about me by exes, I was bullied and pushed around by them, and I know that a warm hearted girl with loyalty and good intentions like me deserves so much better than that.
