So lets start this off with pointing out the elephant in the room: I am a dork; a dork that consumes music, movies, video games, and pop-culture in general. I'm also sarcastic and possess what some may refer to as an odd sense of humor; I tend to not put a filter on my thoughts if I feel the what comes out may result in hilarity. I also have my masters in counseling psychology, so I think that bumps me up to nerd status at this point.
Many of my friends live a decent distance away, so I take a lot of weekend trips to New York and north to the New England area. My friends are my strongest supports in my life: they are the ones that understand me the most and support me every step of the way and I couldn't think of who I'd be without them.
Hobby wise, I build replica movie props, as well as I have been playing guitar since I was 12 and a little bit of piano since I was 17; all to feed my creative need. I am fascinated by how other's express themselves. I went to school for psychology and it continues to amaze me how people will bring creativity into this world: from art and music, to movies and TV. Pop culture is near and dear to my heart; almost as much as the sciences. I love going to museums and I also go to comic conventions as well. Its a good day when I actively have my mind blown; be it an article I've read, something I've seen on the internet or TV, or even just a person I've interacted with.
So with all that on the line, what am I looking for? I'm looking for a partner in crime. I want someone that is willing to partake in the stupid things I do to make life a little less boring. I don't do sports; so I hope you're more inclined to grab dinner and a movie, or take a random drive to Philly, New York, or Boston just so I can test out something new.
