I have a 5 year old son who lives with his mom but that I have in my care at least two nights a week, so my schedule is pretty packed - I have a fair few hobbies too. I'm more than willing to make room for someone special though! It'd be nice to share some of my interests obviously.
I absolutely love music. I love listening to it, playing it, talking about it... probably one of the most important things in my life. I play guitar and sing, and only just started playing in my local pub. It was amazing, and something I intend on doing more!
I'm into fairly heavy stuff, from punk (NoFX, Alkaline Trio, Lagwagon...) and some ska (Sublime....), more "mainstream" rock like the Foo Fighters, Biffy Clyro, Radiohead, Royal Blood... to post hardcore (Thursday, Senses Fail, FfaF...) and metal (Mastodon...). I guess I just enjoy rock'n roll in most of its forms really. I also enjoy "singer-songwriter" stuff like Damien Rice, Frank Turner... I love going to gigs and festivals and I really want to share that with someone. And then go home and have a Netflix-spooning binge
I own a small but very precious collection of vinyls that has a tendency to keep growing by itself. Vinyls do sound better, your argument is invalid.I also love cinema (MCU, Donnie Darko, Pulp Fiction...), TV series (Dexter, House MD, Breaking Bad, The Walking Dead, GoT, FIREFLY...), Fantasy books, comics, games... did I mention I was a bit of a geek? I'm a bit of a geek.
I'm not a couch potato by any stretch though: I cycle several miles a day for commuting, I love to go indoors climbing and bouldering (though it's been a while) and I love a good night out in a decent rock/alternative club. Except in Lincoiln that means Sugarcubes and... well... if you don't know, you probably don't wanna know.
I have five piercings (Eyebrow, helix, lower lip, both ears) and likely to get a few more in the near future (tongue maybe...).
Now, if you've read that far and you're still interested... wait, what? Really? Wow. Ok.
What do I want then? Truth is, I don't really know. My life's been a bit all over the place lately. I miss closeness and intimacy, and would love to share some time with someone who understands me and with whom I can be myself, without pretense. I don't know if I want or if I'm ready for a full blown relationship or not. I'm happy to start casual and see what happens. I'm certainly not averse to a proper relationship.
