A few people have told me that I'm somewhat of a puzzle, and they can't figure me out. I don't think that's totally accurate, but i can see why it would be confusing. That's because I am seem really sweet and innocent, and I am, but i've also had a look into the void, so I know what that's all about. I was a little punk-freak kid growing up, and that's still my roots, so I can't handle dating boring, vanilla guys. I work with youth in a mental health clinic, which I love because it let's me use some of those experiences to help the youth going through it now. So I'm very grateful for the opportunity to do that for a living.
One of my biggest passions is seeing live music, so I go to a lot of shows and festivals. It seems a bit silly to name drop bands, but in a way I think musical taste can really express a lot. So some of my favorites - The Smiths, The Cure, Joy Division, Bowie, Arcade Fire, Radiohead, Metric, NIN, Of Montreal, James, Sublime, Talking Heads, Velvet Underground, etc... i could go on and on.
I've also been influenced by books and films. My cats are William S. Purroughs and Charlotte Mewkowki - there are many authors and movies I could list as favorites.
