My life right now is all about art and roller derby. I've finally made the leap to do my art full-time. I'm too talented to have to work for anyone else. I'm currently working on a second Bachelor's degree in Fine Art through ASU. I recently joined the Arizona Derby Dames. My derby name will be Iron Manda. It is a big part of my life, and I wish I would have started it sooner. I have such a supportive group of girls to skate with that they feel like a second family.
I am intelligent, both left and right-brained. I have a high capacity to really connect and be considerate of other people. As far as a relationship goes, I think it's especially pertinent that I have well-developed communication skills. As a result, I have very rarely wasted time on bickering or arguing in past relationships. I'd much rather spend time enjoying life. I have a strong urge to travel to other countries, especially Germany. I have a good sense of humor and enjoy being goofy every once in a while.
I can be perceived as a little extreme since I like heavy and industrial music and I hang out with many people who live alternative lifestyles, but I consider myself pretty normal. My music is important to me. I never go anywhere without my iPod, and I love to go to clubs and venues that play my music.
As far as what I'm looking for, there's nothing terribly specific. I want someone who is healthy, preferably into health and fitness. I have an intelligence ***** and tend to go for nerdy guys as a result. Being insecure is not an option. It just makes everything more difficult. And, since I'm a social butterfly, I'd need someone who enjoys being around all types of people.
