I've tried a couple of other dating sites but don't really like the people I see on there much, so I'm hoping to meet people who are as weird and misanthropic as me
I'm a huge music person, grew up mostly listening to metal and stuff (Pantera are the best heavy metal band ever, f**k you) but I'm not very good at keeping up with any new stuff. I listen to a lot of other stuff as well though, my taste has broadened out a lot. I recently discovered Curtis Mayfield who I can't get enough of, lots of hip hop, old rock and blues, classical... all started with metal though. I still play guitar all the time, I hope I never stop.
I'm not the most alternative-looking person anymore really (I did my shift, trust me), but I'd put myself in the scene in terms of frames of mind and common experiences. Personal experiences particularly. I moved to California when I was 3 and came back when I was 13 so I always felt kinda on the edge of things. But what's wrong with that
