My name is Keria, I just turned 25 on August 4th 2015. I into nature (Hiking, Beach laying, Canoe/Kayaking, Camping), Music (Going to live shows/concerts/festivals, like stuff from about every range of Genre; new or old.....as long as it has soul aka reflects the human experience. --
My favorite though i mostly stuff from the era of the beginning of Rock n Roll with energetic artist ahead of their time from about 1954-1958. People like Chuck Berry, Little Richard, Elvis Presley, Buddy Holly, and Jerry Lee Lewis. I feel the Golden Age (of at least Rock music) was around 1964-1975 (or could say 1980, because year John Lennon shot, Led Zeppelin breaks up, Reagan elected, and about height of last new rock genre (Punk) I Liked until the 1990's. Love the innovation, evolution, and message of a of music from the sixties. The Beatles, Bob Dylan, Jimi Hendrix, Stones, Doors, Simon & Garfunkel, Marvin Gaye, CCR, and Velvet Underground. Also a lot of artists who had their roots in the 1960's but peaked/came to fame in early 1970's. Like the Grateful Dead, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Joni Mitchell, Black Sabbath and Eric Clapton. Other stuff from the 1970's I dig are James Taylor, David Bowie, Bob Marley, Elvis Costello, The Clash. -----~Grew up on 1990's rock. Love Sublime, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Green Day, Nirvana, Tool, Weezer. . . . . . .. .
Spirituality also into too. In sense of like Carl Jung, Alan Watts, or Joseph Campbell. Where all religions are seen as cultural myths, symbols, and other ways of expressing transcendental concepts/experiences written in a way which would provide meaning to that culture. See them as different paths, which when practiced right could lead to the spiritual evolution in which the whole human race is in great need of. I have no one particular religion myself, though I do love Hindu philosophy. I guess I label myself a 'Panentheist' (All in God, God in All). Or a spiritual mystic, psychedelic pagan...the psychedelic experience opened my mind and changed way view about everything since then. Question everything, compassionate and empathetic to all beings, cynical of power and hierarchy. See a connection between mass spiritual defects in human psychology like greed, vanity, or anything which arises from the finite egoistic selfish perspective, rather than the holistic spiritual perspective. Issues such as mass hunger, climate change, much of war, etc. Reconnect to the planet and live like we are integral cells to something much larger...not an isolated bag of skin and bones...that mindset has turned the human race into a cancer to the Earth---
