Just a weirdo looking to make new friendships and meet kind and funny people to hang out with. Off the bat (no pun intended) I can tell you that I dislike writing long sections that are meant to describe me, so i'll write as much as I can to describe my likes and dislikes. I'm a total homebody, sort of a misanthrope humanist ( I know it's an oxy!), kinda geeky, kind but moody, sort of intelligent, down to earth gal. I'm in my thirties and I am experiencing a whole new way of looking at life. I'm also a mother of one lonely almost teen child and two happily adopted fur babies. They're not babies but they're my puppies. I love all three of them, and they are the most important to me. So, yeah, i'm not a vegan, although I should be considering my weight problem, but I do have a soft heart for animals. I love to write and read. Poe is my favorite author, not for the obvious reasons, I grew up reading Poe and the stories were my only escape growing up. At the moment i'm finishing off school, again, I study psych. I'm in between everything in life right now, to be honest. Ask and I'm not afraid to give you an honest answer, honesty to me is important. Whoever you are, just be yourself, why lie? I'm not apologizing for who I am, though I am known to be less judgmental than many. I have tattoos, a nose piercing. I do like to go to the movies and do geeky things like go to comic cons and or concerts and I also like romantic things like walking in the park and aimlessly walk around enjoying the view of the almighty universe. I'm an Atheist. As you may or not have already realized, I am totally into science stuff. Impress me with your talk about things that boggle and make my brain explode with knowledge and that is very exciting! Yes! I like people who can hold an intelligent conversation, i cannot stand people who talk petty s**t about fashion, or who's hot and who's not and other mindless shizz. Talk to me about things that are important, that make me think and want to know more. I get bored really fast, if that's not the case, and you'll notice. I like a guy that has tattoos and piercings, it's not all necessary, but it's my preference. I also have a thing for guys with longer hair, likely because ummm..well I don't know how to say this except just say it: I like to sport a bald head a la Sinead O'Connor and other alternative scene women. BTW as mentioned above, i'm a bit on the extra pounds, i'm short and chunky. Not morbidly obese. I am working on my diet and getting back to where I used to be. I'm also Latina. If you're not into that then by all means find what you do desire, but no negative comments, because I can get very nasty with my words too, but I prefer not to. I'm calm and quiet and an introvert. I prefer one on one intimate time, not into crowded situations. I don't smoke or use drugs, I occasionally drink, but i'm not a sloppy drunk. I like to go out to eat, a lot. Big girl loves to eat, so sue me!! I'm open minded and down to earth. I'm a modest person too. I seek those qualities in others as well. Boy, I'm already tired of writing about myself. If I missed something else, ask. I guess now it's your turn to tell me something about yourself. Hopefully I peeked someone's interest.
