I'm not the type of person that is looking for the next best thing, or the most popular thing. I'm a person that enjoys the simple things in life--and that extends to my dating life as well. I'm not looking for a possession, or someone to fill a gap in my life. I'm looking for someone that will be my life partner and will stand by me through it all. I'm highly spiritual and enjoy reading and writing about the saints, spiritual teachers, and different beliefs and practices throughout history and the world. I am an Episcopalian, and hope one day to be ordained in the Episcopal Church to dedicate my life to serving the poor, weak, sick, lonely, mistreated, and neglected of society. I believe Jesus when he says "whatever you do to the least of these, you do to me." Everyone deserves companionship, human dignity, and respect--EVERYONE.
I enjoy music, art, and spending time in nature. I'm the type of person who comes home after work, takes off his shirt and shoes, wraps himself in a thin shawl, turns the lights out and lights candles, and relaxes in the soft warmth of the flame light with a glass of wine. I enjoy romance and giving my heart to people. I also enjoy the privilege of sharing someone's heart--their joys, pains, sorrows, and dreams. I will take drawing, playing music, dancing, walking by the water, or sitting on the beach watching the sun set over going to a club.
Most importantly, I will not change myself. I've tried being someone else for long enough. I've come to the point in my life when it's time to be me regardless of the popularity of that decision. Don't ask me to fit your mold.
