My taste run in the highly eclectic. Not necessarily obscure, just broad.

As far as music goes, I like punk, ska, some new wave, older metal, old honky tonk, classic soul and r&b and good old fashioned rock. Examples: Break Anchor, Hellmouth, The Stooges, sex pistols, Dead Boys, The Ramones, Black Flag, The Necros, Bad Brains, Negative Approach, Minor Threat, Violent Apathy, Dead Kennedys, The Offspring, Bikini Kill, The Plasmatics, The Soviettes, The Objex, NOFX, Me First and the Gimme Gimmes, Trash Talk, Circle Jerks, The Misfits, Devo, Blondie, Hellmouth, Reel Big Fish, Mighty Mighty Bosstones, Voo Doo Glow Skulls, The Aquabats, The Pie Tasters, Streetlight Manifesto, Elvis Costello, Black Sabbath, Iron Maiden, Judas Preist, Hank Williams, Johnny Cash, Wilson Pickett, Ben E. King and the various pop acts from the 60s

Movies? Well I'm a sucker for brain dead comedies, as well as odd indie moves and the summer blockbuster. In an effort not to bore the living hell out anyone who was willing to wade through that colossal list of bands i'll try to expedite this section by just listing a Top 5 list.

As for food I am pretty much a steak and potatoes sort. With a dash of ethnic flair. Wild game is a particular favorite of mine. On occasion I have been known to get in the kitchen and cook up some interesting grub.

My taste in TV is fairly diverse. Again I will list a Top 5

3. Top Gear, the UK Version
4. The Daily Show with Jon Stewart
5. Futurama

I am an avid reader, I have and will read a massive selection in books. With Science Fiction and Fanstasy being preferred along with the great classics. Some newer oddball stuff will from time to time will work its way unto my book shelf.
