I’m Liam, Hi.
I am a 24 year old recent(ish) graduate on a gap year deciding my next move. I am a pretty chilled out person 98% of the time.
I enjoy going on outings that involve animals or plants in some way. Also really partial to Japanese food and bubble tea. If someone could give me a challenge at Mario Kart I'd like to see that
Because I have a degree in Japanese studies I thought I should learn Japanese to a higher level so no one calls me a liar, so I study that practically every day. At some point I’d like to go back to Japan, and do the whole Language Assistant thing in a school so I can improve my Japanese and get experience teaching/working with kids before I figure out that masters route I take.
I'm also into bodyweight working out, eating well most of the time and enjoying the whole post Uni experience of having money. I kind of sort of play the ocarina as well. Not played long so not at the stage where I can carry it around like some kind of busking legend enthralling all who listen…but it’ll happen.
Favourite stuff:
Music: Anything metalcore, Jrock, hardcore, metal etc(most varieties) Couldn’t give you a favourite band (other than KSE). Lately I’ve been listening to We Came as Romans, Nano, Of Mice and Men, 東京事変. It’ll change though. I’ll go through phases of 80s or classical or chillstep as well. I am usually quite open to music.
Books: Anything by Haruki Murakami (Kafka on the Shore and Norwegian Wood tied for favourite), His Dark Materials Trilogy, Ghost written, The First Fifteen Lives of Harry August, The Illiad and the Odyssey (I enjoy mythology of most kinds).
Animals: Cat, Colour: Grey, Food: Katsudon, Pokemon: Umbreon, TV programme: Doctor Who, Film: Groundhog Day
