Activities: academics, ceramics and pottery, reading, movies, chess, biking, seeing my friends and family, and of course many other things.
I am a cynic. My studies are my whole life. I study many things at the university, but mostly history and literature. I'm a Humanist, Feminist, and liberal in every sense of the word. I'm sick of seeing women who are immature. I involve myself in counter-culture as do most people I associate with. My roommate is a 37-year-old schizophrenic architect I play chess with three times a day. I download and listen to tons of underground music. I love bad, gory horror films- the lower "Rotten Tomatoes" rating, the better! My favorite thing to do on a Friday or Saturday night is drink wine with my friends and listen to music, play chess, or just shoot the breeze. During the week you can probably find me on campus or at the Paramount. I also enjoy creative writing. Currently, I'm in a fiction-writing workshop with Bill Meissner, who has written books including one novel acclaimed by Kurt Vonnegut. I've also done tons other writer's workshops in the past in poetry and fiction. So I guess this essay turned out to be a patchwork of notes and facts about myself; thanks for reading thus far!
