I am a writer, a software engineer, and a refugee from the punk/metal/new wave/my-God-what-did-we-do-last-night daze of 1980's and early 90's San Francisco scene. I still have Bauhaus on vinyl, and laundry day is a big black hole. Some would say I'm progressive, but I prefer the term leftist. I love all manner of furry beasties like cats, dogs, and other animals.
Many people say they're adventurous, but for many being "adventurous" means going to a small town up the coast that they've never been to and trying a new kind of cheese. In the daze of my chaotic youth I launched myself on some wild and practically felonious adventures. As I got older and wiser, I started new adventures in the other direction: Learning to speak a language and traveling to Europe, training for long distance running, and writing a novel.
I'm a balance between a wild past and a disciplined future. I'm sentimental, industrious, and still adventurous. The woman for me is a woman of the world, someone who's been there and done that!
If you hang around me long enough, I will write short stories for you.
