What constitutes climate X? Let us begin by defining it formulaically: climate X
is a world which has defeated the emerging climate Leviathan and its compulsion
for planetary sovereignty, while also transcending capitalism. In other words, we
argue that only in a world that is no longer organized by the value form, and only
where sovereignty has become so deformed that the political can no longer be
organized by the sovereign exception, is it possible to imagine a just response to
climate change.
