Trying this again after a rather s**tty break up. I'm in the USAF working as a maintenance technician -- essentially a glorified mechanic, but for cargo planes. When I'm not doing that, I'm an artist trying to scrape up some extra change on the side doing any work from painting to digital sketches. I want to be a concept artist, mainly from my love of video games and movies. Ever seen one of those "behind the scenes" deals where they show paintings of environments and characters and such while the thing was still in the works? Yeah, that's what I wanna do eventually. ;D
Let's see.. besides art, video games, and C-17 aircraft, I love muscle cars, movies, food, traveling, making new friends, and being with the friends I already have. I'm not an extrovert by any means, but once I'm comfortable with you, I'm extremely dedicated.
I don't have a high tolerance for bulls**t, especially not since my ex of a year was full of it; if you're into playing 'hard to get', 'sending signals', 'dropping hints' and the like, you're not for me. If s*x is your primary goal or you complain about not getting enough, you're not for me. All my cards are on the table, so it's not too fair to keep yours hidden, yeah? Just be real with me and we'll be okay. Not nearly as intimidating nor as bitchy as it sounds. c:
I wouldn't mind a long distance stint at all, as long as we talked often, hit it off really well, and actually made strides to see one another! I've been in two long distance relationships before, and they were both pretty normal, happy things. That being said, I'm not really sure if I'm looking for something lighthearted and casual or something more serious. My last relationship got serious a bit too fast for my liking, and crashed and burned pretty hard. But I'm not usually the "casual" type, and have a pretty passionate way of doing things. Not to say I'm clingy or overbearing or what have you-- I just generally don't keep much in the way of a reserve, very dedicated, blah, blah, blah.
Don't take me as being too lofty though, I'm open to talk to anyone and try something out! I like to believe I'm approachable. :')
