I hate these things, but I guess I'd better fill in the basics...
My name is John Smith (no, seriously, that's my name, though I wish it was Jareth, because David Bowie is awesome), and I live in a hellhole in North Yorkshire, known as Scarborough.
I plan to move to York once I get the money, but that's on the back burner, at the moment.
I'm twenty-four years of age with ADHD, Asperger's Syndrome, depression and full of sarcasm, crude humour and usually coffee.
I'm half-Scottish, too. I don't have a Scottish accent, whatsoever, (though I wish I did).
I do not have a regular paying job, I am a full-time carer for my mother who will soon be starting a regular course of dialysis.
My three dream careers: Author, Author! (Hell, I just referenced my favourite Frasier episode!), Alternative Model (This one if the least likely to happen) and a Train Guard for East Coast (I'm a train buff. So?).
Favourite TV shows: Frasier, Cheers, The Crystal Maze, Star Trek (mostly The Next Generation), SpongeBob SquarePants, Bullseye, Red Dwarf, Family Guy, American Dad!, Knight Rider (the original series, with The Hoff), Battlestar Galactica (The original series), Battlestar Galactica 1980, Floyd on Fish (Keith Floyd may have been an alcoholic, but he was and shall always be the greatest chef, EVER), The Old Grey Whistle Test, The Simpsons, Futurama, South Park.
Favourite Actors/Actresses: Gene Hackman (MY IDOL), David Bowie, Sigourney Weaver, David Hyde Pierce, Patrick Stewart, Al Pacino, William Shatner, Brent Spiner, Harrison Ford, Kurt Russel, Jenette Goldstein, Mel Gibson, Terence Stamp, John Glover, Christopher Reeve, Ricardo Montalban, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Steven Seagal, Jim Carrey, Lance Henriksen, Leslie Nielsen, Lloyd Bridges, Jeff Bridges, Michael Keaton, Jack Nicholson, Tommy Lee Jones, Michael Douglas, Danny DeVito, Dan Aykroyd, Bill Murray.
Favourite books: Anything by Tom Clancy (I've read all of his published work), A Brief History Of Time.
Favourite movies: THE FRENCH CONNECTION (GREATEST. FILM. EVER.), French Connection II, Labyrinth (obviously), Alien3, Ace Ventura: Pet Detective, Star Trek (The Motion Picture - Nemesis. I do not care for the 2009-onwards reboot), Top Gun (The only film to EVER make me cry), Monty Python and The Holy Grail, Monty Python's Life Of Brian (My least favourite, judge me all you will), Monty Python's The Meaning Of Life (AMAZING FILM), Clear and Present Danger.
