I'm an entrepreneur. At the moment, I'm testing my artistic talents. I do some wire wrapping, Tie Dye, and wood carving. I want to learn stone working, and glass blowing. I sell my wares, and other locally produced items at festival booths. I'm excited to see how far my artistic talents can take me.
I own my house and vehicle, I have 5 acres that I'm paying off, that I want to build an Earthship on.
A big thing I'm working through right now is the death of my mom. She died June 2013, and it's been a hard year.
I find it difficult to place myself into any comprehendable category to describe what kind of a person I am. I think the best I can do is a Anarchistic Goth Hippie. I've spent the majority of my life trying to understand myself and the universe around me, and the more I learn the less I know. I believe most people more complex than they believe themselves to be, and the more you understand your complexities the freer you become. So to spout off some basic descriptors, I'm intelligent, funny, a little pervy, loving, generous, a little more pervy, and sometimes selfish.
I like to wear colorful clothing because it makes me feel more colorful as a person. I enjoy growing plants and want to be self sufficient. I am highly spiritual, though I follow no set doctrine. I believe I have communicated with beings from a higher plane, and they have given me insight. I do not believe that earth needs to be protected from the damage we are causing, the earth will move on as it always has. I do however think we need to protect ourselves from the damage we're causing, we don't evolve fast enough to cope with the environmental changes we're causing. I prefer the night over the day, and being outdoors under a full moon is so much better than any other time. I do not want to fit in with society, though I really do like people on a personal level. I believe everyone should be free to live life as they please. I realize this is highly unrealistic, but I prefer to dream.
My greatest passion is learning, to me there is nothing greater than expanding my mind and understanding.This can be any type of learning, from getting to know a person, getting to know myself, to getting to know the universe. There's so much to experience, and I wish to experience it all. I enjoy being physically active, in particular I like bicycling, swimming, and hiking. Due to an injury, I got out of martial arts for a few years, but I'm starting to practice again. I also enjoy watching Television and movies, playing games(board and video) and gardening.
From a philosophical standpoint, I would think of myself as a Hedonist. I'm always looking to have fun and enjoy life. I love all the pleasures, sloth, lust, gluttony, and a little properly directed rage makes things spicy. I find it hard to say if I like things a little too much, but I make sure to keep balance. If I eat a whole cheesecake, I'll burn just as many calories, hopefully in a fun preferably s*x way. If I sit on the couch all day, I'll do something active the next. I haven't found a downside to too much s*x, at least nothing some water and gluttony can't fix.
In closing. I am myself, a complex sometimes hypocritical existence that's seeking the same from a partner.
