A few of my favorite songs in no particular order:

My name is Daniela and I was born in New York City. Growing up was fairly easy for me in the family department, because I've always had the most amazing parents and older sister anyone could ask for, that were and still are extremely motivational and supportive of everything I do. That being said, high school was still a drag. Got picked on here and there, but all of that made me realize that the only way I'd ever be awesome, cool, sociable, likable, would be by self-realization and an ass-ton of self confidence. I'm 21, and I study Entertainment Technology in college at the moment. Scenery work and rock 'n' roll shows are both different in many ways, but I love working with crews in both fields! A lot of hard work, but it's become so much fun as I love the profession. I'm currently teaching myself Japanese, with the help of penpals who I can exchange practice with by teaching them English! Eep!

I'm a woman who loves a good book, and loves opening up to people. I find so much intimacy in sharing things that make us comfortable, things that make us feel good inside. I find no shame in sharing poetry, experiences, or items that mean a lot to me. Philanthropy starts with the ability to love.

Things I dig:
Listening to all kinds of music. Variety is hella good.
Skateboarding. (It's a little hard not to get stopped by truancy vans when I'm on that thing, as skateboarding takes away five years from your actual age, so while I don't skate much, I still love the occasional cruise through Chinatown.)
Playing video games. I just get HOOKED sometimes. That. and comic books. Ugh.
Dancing, because life's too short not to!
Taking naps when I'm not working or in college. (Power naps are ambrosia during midterms and finals. Who wouldn't love napping?)
Drawing and painting as a hobby. (Took it up as a career, and decided it's better as a hobby.)
Learning about different cultures and customs. OH. And f**kin' SPACE.
A good chit-chat. Don't be shy to hit me up!
Concerts. I've been to so many, it's ridiculous. If I ever had no one to go with, I'd be completely okay with going alone.
Small groups of people. It's a little more personal, intimate, and manageable with conversation! (Group mentality in bigger groups doesn't go well with me. Eep!)
Playing guitar. I've got three little electric babies and one acoustic.
Horror films. Jesus f**k I love a good horror flick. The bad ones are still kind of good, too...

Things that suck about me:
I have a ridiculous amount of empathy. I feel for other people when they display their woes to me.
Occasionally, I may overthink things to the point where I become terrified that the worst thing that can happen will happen. (I'm talking to you, college!)
You can't leave trash/clutter/garbage around me. It makes me cranky as f**k. Clean up after yourself!

Now, as much of an introvert as I am, I enjoy company as much as I enjoy solitude. I enjoy conversation as much as I enjoy taking a stroll by myself. As the quiet type Pokemon, I tend to "people watch" and observe from afar to have a quick and/or resourceful understanding of most situations, if I can help it. In negative situations, I take every horrible thing that has ever happened to me, and instead of worrying about what I did to deserve it, I think to myself "How can I use this to further my knowledge and experience?" "What have I learned from this and what can I do to apply this situation to another situation similar to it?" Learning from the good and bad things equally in life is far more important than finding meaning to everything. There's that possibility that there really IS no meaning. So think to yourself, what's more productive? To sit there and ponder on why, or to use what's happened to better yourself as a human being?

Namaste!
