Im Mikey, I run my own business making custom guitars, amplifiers and pickups.
My great passion in life is music, I play guitar, piano and drums, and am rarely without music, it helps keep me sane in this mad world. My favourite styles are punk, ska, reggae, and the blues, but I'll listen to anything good.
Im also a movie nut, love cinema, particularly the Coen brothers and Luc Besson. If I'm honest tho, I enjoy a trashy action movie or sci-fi just as much as an existential piece by France's finest. A night in with a DVD, bottle of wine and good company is bliss. I do like a good night out tho too.
I must say, I'm a total geek, but I think Simon Pegg has it right about us, we just openly get excited by and appreciate things more than others and that can be no bad thing!
Travelling is really important to me, I love to see other cultures n learn new things, and generally just soak up the awesomeness which is our planet. I'm also pretty outdoorsy, I love rugby camping n off road adventures.
