Hello! My name is Matt. I suppose you could say I'm an eclectic free-thinker. Just trying to make it in the world. I'm super easy to get along with, non-confrontational I guess you'd call it, and I like to imagine I've got a pretty good sense of humor. Forcing things is simply not my style, and I'm follower of the "It is what it is." mantra. I'm a firm believer that it's the bright, vivid things in life that make it worth living. I live life for the sake of life first and foremost.

I'm a huge fan of music...electronic, old-school country, classic rock, but my heart and soul will forever belong to metal. I'm kind of a metal snob. I read a ton, with my favorite authors being Steinbeck, Bradbury. Landolfi, and some more contemporary stuff. I'm just a sucker for a good story. Television-wise, I spend more time watching the BBC than I do American shows. IFC comes in a close second. As far as movies go, I'll watch damn near anything. I also skateboard, have for 12 years now, as it's a definite passion of mine. I like to fancy myself a writer/poet, and just recently finished work on my first full length novel. I've got a million and one million dollar schemes, and I'm always looking for a partner in crime.

I guess I'm just trying to meet someone who can be my best-friend and confidant first, and whatever else second. Meeting new people is one of the greatest parts of living, so let's meet!
