Hello, my name is Carolyn (Nicknamed Rooney or Roon by my work colleagues) - Not to be confused with the footballer.
I live and work in Leicester (Could be worse I suppose Ha Ha!).
A little bit about me:- Mmm??? Well.. I was a Goth in the early 80's and then got into the later 80's rock scene especially the American bands like Motley Crue, Warrant,Poison, Great White, White Lion, Van Halen etc etc.. (The list goes on).
Still love all my Goth music (Soft Cell, Depeche Mode, The Dammned, The Cure etc) and go through various albums in the evenings after work according to my mood.
Quite partial to the Zane Lowe show on Radio One in the evenings and love some of the new music which is out at the moment.
Love today's tunes too especially Foo Fighters, Muse, Razorlight, White Lies, Franz Ferdinand, Artic Monkies, Kasabien are some of my favorites.
Love going out to see live bands going to see Muse, Marc Almond, White Lies and Depeche Mode this year (so far).
Like to go out to alternative clubs or pubs sometimes and out socialising with friends, eating out and travelling as well.
Love buying new clothes, shoes and boots. (Especially boots).
Really like going to the pictures or stopping in and watching a good film whenever I can.
I like most types of films if there is a good storyline, but am partial to Sc-Fi, Comic Book Hero's, and old B'Movies. OOOooohhh and a bit of Python always puts a smile on my face.
Tim Burton and David Lynch are my 2 favorite Directors.
Donnie Darko is by far my most favorite and most watched film.
Edward Norton, Gary Oldman, Christian Bale, Jake Gyllenhaal and Kevin Spacey rank amongst my favorite actors and Christina Ricci and Juliette Lewis are 2 of my favorite actresses.
I enjoy life to the full and love making new friends and widening my experiences and learning new things as a result, but, I am looking to find someone special to share it all with.
