These sculptures belong to neo-Assyrian art about 3,000 years ago during the iron age. They are called Lammasu and decorated the entrance doors of Temples and Palaces, such as the time of Asurbanipal II in Nimrud or the time of Sargon II in Dur Sharrukin, all this in the current Middle East.
