Carlos began her music career with Switched on Bach, an album formed of several pieces by Johann Sebastian Bach, performed on a Moog Modular Synthesizer. An American musician and composer, born as a biological man, ( ne' Walter Carlos ) started transitioning in 1968, but continued to publicly perform and present as a man for more than a decade. She finally came out as a transgender woman in 1979. I only have the ' Switched On Bach' album.
