The band name, if you can't read it, is supposed to spell out Technophobia. Technophobia is an actual phobia of all which is machinery or technological that either can resemble something "futuristic" or sparks the fear of a future where machines will take over.
T3chn0ph0b1a considers their music to be "Dancefl-Horror." More than likely, T3chn0ph0b1a are highly associated with the European EBM scene as well as the underground industrial goth scene but also recognized by fans of metal bands like The Kovenant, Deathstars, and even Cradle of Filth.
The band is known for doing remixes for such groups like Dope Star Inc., Mortiis, XP8 and others.
