I’m here to find a really great person. I’m not in a rush to get serious and married since I’m recently separated (divorce will be final by the first of the year at the latest). I just relocated to Kyle, TX in August’22 and looking to start a solid foundation with someone as friends first. Nothing wrong with talking for a little while?
I am half-Asian (Chinese and Caucasian). I have worked in the medical field for 18+ years. I’m looking forward to starting this next part of my life in a new city and great employer. The change is very welcome as my marriage wasn’t healthy from the beginning and I was unhappy consistently trying to satisfy or please everyone but myself. Now that I’m older, I know what I want and need from someone to be in a successful relationship.
I’m a little conservative or old fashioned in some ways…However, I was raised in a very open minded home and carry that part of my life along to this day. I’m practical and very objective about life in general…almost to a fault. I’m not an emotional or outwardly passionate man. I have opinions, but you won’t hear me arguing about politics or marching in a rally. I’m not against people that do, yet I choose not to be around them as I think there are more effective ways to spend time and energy.
I don’t have children living with me. They are both a little older and live in the Dallas area. I do have 2 kittens now. I have had 2 English Bulldogs. I love dogs, cats, and salt**ter reefs. I prefer someone without really young kids…I’m at the point in life that having to arrange child care for vacations or last minute social activities sounds unappealing.
I don’t really have hard limits like some profiles. Nothing related to voting or whether or not you are vaccinated. Such strange deal-breakers would instantly weed out anyone in the medical field…such as myself. I just can’t expend any more of my life with toxic personality types. I do have preferences…be honest about yourself (past and present), be healthy (mentally and physically…regardless of your weight), be stable and responsible (no former inmates or felons, etc…you or your friends), contribute to society in a positive way, be independent and strong.
I have tried or had several different occupations in the past. Retail, food service, sales, mortgage, law enforcement, detention, funeral service, self-employment, etc…
I enjoy: shooting (not a hunter anymore) paper or steel, cooking, grilling, being outside (in nice weather), watching TV and movies, going to comedy clubs, attending concerts, Las Vegas casinos, driving to new places, freshwater activities, beaches (not so much “in “ the ocean), listening to music. is such a big part of my day outside of work. I’m into a wide variety of music and my playlists change whenever my mind finds something interesting to draw me in. Currently, I am listing to EDM artists like Illenium, Chainsmokers, Zedd, etc… before that it was EMO Punk like Mayday Parade, We the Kings, Boys Like Girls, etc… and before that it was Slipknot, Disturbed, Metallica, Godsmack, etc… DEFINITELY will always be an 80’s New Wave (DM) or Alternative super-fan!
Other things about me… I have good hygiene, no tattoos (yet) or piercings, all teeth are straight and white (except for a molar crown), kinda OCD, I like almost all types of food - I do cook(and clean!), I drink a few times a week (not to excess), types of TV shows range..I like dramas, comedies, documentaries, action and some reality stuff. Movies…action, military, drama, horror, comedy. I’m neater and cleaner than most other guys. I’m not materialistic in the sense that I usually wear shorts and t-shirts when I’m off. I dress appropriately when going out. Usually casual and conservative.
Lastly, I will say that I like vanilla flavored and scented things…however, I’m not vanilla behind closed doors …haven’t been since’91. (Hopefully if you know, you’ll know)
