I have chosen a selection of photos that I feel represent a part of me (each with a story to tell). Outgoing and adventurous, silly and a maybe little bit crazy (or daft).
I thoroughly enjoy punk and pretty much all alternative rock. My preference for going out is to catch up with friends and go to a gig (the smaller the venue the better, or just a good atmosphere).
Since I left Australia to go travelling, I try to live life. I managed 25,000 miles on the Greyhound in America, 15,000 miles of ViaRail in Canada. I have been a chalet host (where I had to learn to cook real quick) and learnt to snowboard. I learnt to ride a motorbike, and undertook a road trip with a friend to the south of France. It is always fun to do a long hike, whether in Scotland (mostly raining) or in Morocco up the Atlas Mountains. I have even experimented with baking and developed a 3-layer chocolate brownie (and yes it tastes as good as it sounds).
My only chemical induced vice is sweet things, but since I started being more mindful of my health, it has not really vanquished my sweet tooth. I do enjoy cycling around Richmond Park (it is always great to see the deer). I intend on doing two BHF events in June – 100km off road around the Isle of Wight, then next day 80km London to Brighton (3rd time and counting if the knees hold up).
Halloween is always great just so I can decorate the house, dress up and have a party.
I think it is important that a restaurant has a good dessert menu. I do enjoy going out with friends and enjoying their company. Other interests include reading, karate, philosophy, ancient history and sustainability. Oh I almost forgot - cartoons. And I am sure what you can guess my favourite colour and animal are.
I would like to find someone I can have a discourse with about music, food and life (sorry if that is rather broad, but tangents are what make conversations great. I have tried other online dating and found it disconcerting that many were ‘turned off’ by tattoos and other alternative interest. Yes I have tattoos.
